Larissa's life is all about rescuing and educating others. She has three rescue dogs, constantly fosters other pups in need of shelter, volunteers at the local animal shelters often and educates people on how to get involved with pet adoption/rescue efforts!
She is a dynamic journalist and pet expert known for her relatable personality. Her work includes being the resident Pet Rescue Expert on Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family show, which has been nominated for two Emmy awards. Larissa's career in news combined with her passion to help animals makes it perfect that she now be part of such an influential platform where viewers can learn about animal related issues while being entertained by this 2-time Emmy nominee!
On August 21, 2021 Larissa appeared on The Dogish Podcast with FUREVER USA to discuss her journey through the animal rescue community.
