WRIGGLED HIS WAY INTO BOTH OF OUR HEARTS

When George first came to us as a foster dog he was a bundle of anxiety. Although my husband was resistant to having him from the start, when the time came for someone to adopt him, he was heartbroken at the thought of losing him. That’s when my husband told me that George was staying.

Now you can spot them curled up together on the couch most nights, my husband absentmindedly petting him as they watch tv. He is a reflection of what we want to be- fun, easy-going, and excited (but not too excited).

George wriggled his way into both of our hearts and gave me a new purpose during a very stressful time in my life. He is my shadow, following me from room to room and cuddling in close with every chance he gets. In exchange for nurturing affection, George gives us unending love and peace.
