TOGETHER WE ARE A FAMILY

Before Chico came to us he was a little tough guy. With some scarring on his neck, he didn’t interact with other dogs well, always having to be dominating. With lots of training and my husband reminding me to have faith in him, Chico transformed into the little love bug he is now. We go on walks every morning and he gives me these smiles that let me know that he loves this time. Pit bulls get a bad rap, but after seeing the transformation of Chico, it encouraged me to accept more of them.

Chico is what helped our first dog, Hank, open up to the world and become more interactive. When we first got Hank, he was very shy, not wanting much to do with anyone or anything. When Chico came along he became a completely different dog. Because Chico wasn't afraid of anything, it showed Hank that he didn't need to be afraid. He could explore and things would be fine. Hank went from a very shy dog to a dog that wonders, sniffs things and is much more confident.

We are so proud of our boys, and happy that they have come so far. Chico has got Hank out of his shell and now Chico can actually be in the same room with another dog. Chico and Hank are best friends, and together we are a family.
