THERE ARE NO DEAL BREAKERS WHEN YOU COMMIT TO A DOG

Kallie lets her love for others shine through above all else. She brings a pure heart and sweet innocence into my life. I have fostered a lot of dogs since I adopted Kallie, and she is wonderful with all of them, welcoming with the adults and nurturing with the puppies. Kallie loves everyone, and her sweet nature brings a calm and consistency that means so much when my house is full and chaotic. With all the love she shows, I can’t help but reflect that love back at her. She makes me whole, offering a sense of peace, a sense of motherhood, and a sense of happiness that would not exist without her.

Avelyn is my little challenge. She makes me work and learn and try harder, and reminds me that there are no deal breakers when you commit to a dog. Avelyn used to not like people, but now she climbs into their laps almost immediately. Dogs are still tricky, but Avelyn’s capacity to do better and learn from those around her makes her so endearing. Her eagerness to please is evident, and her deep desire to know that she is loved melts my heart. She has made me a better dog mom. Home is not home without Kallie and Avelyn.
