SOMEHOW OURS HAVE FOUND US

It’s impossible to watch a baseball game in our house when our three border collies are all there. Lovers of the game and of tennis balls, the house turns into a riot the moment the pitcher starts throwing.

Only a dog's soulful eyes, a lick on the cheek, a paw on our arm, or wagging tails can clear a coffee table and still be so huggable! We rarely have gone looking for a pet because somehow ours have found us.

Minerva was the first of the pack, snuggling into our lives. Though lots of training and busy-work, Minerva is working on elite qualification for her competition nose work. Cimmeron was next to share the love with our family, her huge heart making her perfect for therapy work. Then came Liffey, the rambunctious young one who has taken to agility work (and herding the cats).

While they sure are a handful, they’ve drawn us in with their commitment to work and thriving personalities.
