SHE IS HAPPY ALL THE TIME

In February of 2016, I was still grieving the loss of my 4-legged best friend, Oliver, who passed away two months prior. My birthday was coming up, and as a gift, it was suggested that I get a new dog. At first suggestion, it felt too soon, but only a couple of weeks later, I saw something that changed my mind.

I was doing housework one Saturday morning when I took a social media break, and discovered a video from the SPCA of 8 beautiful puppies that were up for adoption that day. Normally, I don’t open those videos because I am afraid that I will want to adopt the dogs, but God told me to watch the video. The 8 puppies in the video melted me, so I agreed to go down to see them in person. Two hours later, and against many odds, we were able to adopt Jasper, the last of the litter. After we got her home, we renamed her Zoie.

The serendipitous thing about Zoie is on the night we brought her home, we realized that she was born on the exact same day that my best friend Oliver had died. Therefore, she was continuing to carry on all the wonderful things of Oliver mixed in with all wonderful things about Zoie. Zoie is precious! She is vibrant, she loves to cuddle and chew. She is happy all the time, and loves everyone she meets.
